The Trim Tab
Why Trim Tab?
One of visionary inventor Buckminster Fuller’s favorite metaphors was the image of the trim tab, a very small surface attached to the rudder of an ocean liner that can change the movement of the ship with minimum effort by the captain. Alliance members are a group of dedicated professionals who optimistically face the task of shifting the world’s pharmaceutical-based addiction treatment industry to biochemical repair based on neuro-nutritional science and other drug-free methods of brain repair. We know we can succeed because with the right leverage of a tiny trim tab even an ocean liner can gracefully change course and we are determined to be that trim tab for our industry.
AAS Newsletters come out quarterly and are available to all who sign up to receive the educational and informative communique. In addition to the featured articles, each issue contains a section on Alliance Announcements, Research Roundup - with the latest studies in the fields of ADHD, Acupuncture, Yoga, and Nutriton, and a Reader's Corner with reviews of AAS member's books.
